Where are you today?
Sunday, April 12th, 2009

Hi friends

I find I struggle with who I am and with the things that I desire to accomplish in my life!

Do you ever find that you put off doing something because you are afraid?
Perhaps you don’t know exactly how to do something or what the outcome may be.

Well I struggle with this problem!

I know that I want to be a different person in 6 months time to who I am today! I desire to be more confident, more focused, making a bigger impact for good in the world, improving and changing not only my life, but also the lives of others.

I hope that we can go on this journey together - growing and changing the world for good!!!

Until next time.

iLifestyleClub and Quality of Life
Sunday, September 7th, 2008

After much coaxing from my beloved wife Leanne, I have promised her to write a blog by the end of the day, so here it is. Not sure what I’ll write about yet but I’m sure I’ll get inspiration as I go along.

iLifestyleClub - The early days

First of all, I want to address the progress of iLifestyleClub over the last few months. Thank you, Leanne, Allan, Tehillah and Josh for the Blogs you have contributed since we launched in July. With such diverse topics as photography, cooking, investment etc, we certainly are covering a wide range of lifestyle issues in our Blogs, to complement the in-depth resources available to subscribers from the iLifestyleClub “library” through the website.

Thanks also to our subscribers for supporting us in supplying the wealth creation,
personal development health and lifestyle resources you are currently enjoying.

iLifestyleClub - Where are we heading?

As we enter the 3rd month of iLifestyleClub, it is appropriate that we ask the question, where are we heading, in other words what are we aiming to achieve with iLifestyleClub?

I can’t answer for all our subscribers, but I CAN put out there, some ideas, aims and
objectives that I have myself, and hopefully some of these will resonate with some of
you too.

First of all, lifestyle for me is about quality of life. Sometimes you have to sit back
and evaluate where you have been in life, and I can say for myself that over the years,
although I have not had a rough life, the quality has not always been there.

I am not talking about material values, but purpose of life. How many of us, as we get
older and look back on our lives, will be proud of the number of hours of overtime we
did, or the number of sales pegged up as we worked away, cogs in the machine of the
economy, which we all, let’s be honest, have to do our time in as we go through life.

No, the things that will bring us contentment are based more on spiritual values, like how our lives impacted those around us, family, friends, church, and the world out there, which we all know has a lot of issues, people hurting, mostly from poverty
- material and spiritual. Making a difference in the world requires resources - again
some material and some spiritual. Giving into other people’s lives and addressing
these issues is paramount to maintaining a sense of purpose as we go through life.

So what does all this have to do with iLifestyleClub? Well, to me, iLifestyleClub
represents an opportunity to tap into resources that we can use in life as we strive to give into the lives of others around us, and beyond us, in the wider community and the world outside our national borders. There are financial opportunities, strategies which, if implemented correctly, will free up our time to enable us to give more effectively, materially and spiritually, into the lives of others. That is what I mean by quality of life, making a difference.

And as a man said a couple of millennia back, give and it will be given to you,
pressed down, shaken together and running over. That idea in itself is a spiritual
value which if it permeates communities, has been proven to change lives profoundly
where it has been put into practice. Some call it abundance thinking, others call it
generosity, goodwill, or charity. Whatever you care to call it, we all know it works.

Welcome to the blog on the second week of our honeymoon. We would like to take you with us as we continue to share our experiences on Magnetic Island in Qld, Australia.

We left Noosa on the Sunshine Coast and drove early in the morning to the Brisbane airport. From here we caught a flight to Townsville, a shuttle bus to the port and then a Ferry across to Magnetic Island.

The colours of the water were absolutely beautiful. We were blessed to stay in the One Bright Point – Mantra on Magnetic Island, right next to where the ferry arrives.

We hired a small car so that we were free to explore all of the different parts of the island. There are some dirt roads, which are off limits to the popular Mokes that a lot of people hire and so we chose a car that had no limits to it.

We explored down every road and walked down many of the tracks throughout the island. We swam in each of the little bays that we saw.

The colours, the wildlife and the reef were amazing! We went out on a reef cruise and got to swim with the beautiful coloured fish and to see the stunningly different types, colours and sizes of coral!

We also were excited to be able to snorkel around the Island itself and to enjoy many types of colourful fish and corals within walking distance from the beaches! Amazing!!!

We have included some photos below for you to see some of what we enjoyed. Magnetic Island is somewhere that we hope to go back to regularly and a place that we would highly recommend to everyone to go to!

Until next time.

To your success and fulfilment in life!

More soon!

Our honeymoon in Noosa Qld
Wednesday, June 18th, 2008

Welcome to our first blog for the iLifeStyleClub. We would like to take you on the journey with us over the coming weeks, months and years as we move together towards fulfilling our hopes and dreams and getting the most out of this wonderful gift of life! May we be able to learn from each other as we each move towards our goals and our ultimate lifestyle!

Life goes by so very quickly and each day I am learning the importance of slowing down and enjoying the journey. Life is so much more than just rushing towards some destination and goal. The real meaning in life is found by learning to enjoy the journey and those that we are blessed to do life with!

I recently had the honour of marrying my best friend, Greg. (You will also be blessed to hear from Greg sometimes.) We are still enjoying getting to really know each other and loving each other more every day.
I thought that we could share with you part of our honeymoon….

We enjoyed the first week of our honeymoon in Noosa on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia.
You can see us in the photos below. We devoured scrumptious mushy pea, meat pies.
We relaxed and soaked in the hot spa.
We had a lovely day at Australia Zoo (the home of Steve Irwin). You can see me feeding the elephant (that was fun!) and Greg and I jumping next to the photo of Steve!

We had relaxing walks along the beach and through the national parks. We even enjoyed a New Zealand Natural smoothie first thing in the morning…. Yum!

We will continue the story of our honeymoon next time. So be sure to return and find out where we went for our second week of our honeymoon!

The best part of life is the journey. So pause today, remember to smile at a stranger, to tell someone that you love them and to enjoy being YOU!

To your success in life!
